Meet the Founder
Founded by Zully Gisella Goya Paz, GiMeZu is a reflection of resilience, vision, and transformation. Created from a deeply personal place, the brand was born from the belief that even after life’s most difficult seasons, there is still beauty in rebuilding and power in becoming.
What began as a personal journey grew into something greater — a space designed to inspire healing, strength, reflection, and hope in others. Through GiMeZu, Zully set out to create more than a business. She created a brand with heart and purpose, rooted in the belief that our most difficult seasons do not have to define us, but can instead shape us into who we are becoming.
With every detail, product, and message, her hope is to encourage others to honor their story, embrace their growth, and believe in the beauty of rising again.
My Story
I was born in Ecuador and came to the United States as a child, carrying a story shaped by loss, survival, and resilience. I arrived not knowing English and entered a life I did not fully understand, one marked by grief, hardship, and experiences that would shape me in profound ways.
But my story did not end there.
As a single mother, my children became my reason to keep going, to do better, and to build a different life. In loving them, protecting them, and striving for more for them, I also found healing within myself. Along the way, I became the mother I needed when I was younger.
My path has also been shaped by service — as a U.S. veteran and as a public servant for more than 20 years. Through those chapters, I developed a deeper sense of discipline, courage, perseverance, and purpose. Part of that journey was later shared in LATINA Style’s Veterans Perspective through my article, “Operation Boots to Heels: Transitioning to Civilian Life,” where I reflected on my military transition and the resilience it required.
GiMeZu was born from that journey. It is for the woman who is healing, growing, rebuilding, and learning her strength. It is rooted in the belief that you are not what happened to you. You are who you choose to become.

Through her signature message, Rise. Rebuild. Become., Zully shares lessons from her journey as an Air Force Veteran, public servant, mother, founder, and woman who has learned to rise through difficult chapters and rebuild with intention.
Her message is designed to encourage reflection, spark meaningful conversation, and remind audiences that every chapter — even the painful ones — can become part of a powerful becoming.
